Saving Project...

Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Brookhaven, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Rehabilitation of Various Bridges and Embankments Turkey Bridge Over Aspatuck Creek and CR 111, Port Jefferson - Westhampton Road Over CR 51, Moriches - Riverhead Road Towns of Brookhaven and Southampton. The work consists of the following: Steel Replacement and Repairs, Bridge Rail and Structural Steel Painting, Bridge Surface and Deck Repairs, Concrete Spall Repairs, Structural Lifting, Bearing Replacement, Joint Removal, Installation of Concrete Column Protection, and Installation of Ultra-High Performance Concrete. Bids for this contract shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope with the name of the contract clearly noted on the outside of the envelope. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This bid bond will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and contract awarded to the Bidder, the contract will be duly executed and properly secured. E-MAILED BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED UNRESPONSIVE. Any questions regarding this project shall be directed to William Hillman, P.E., Chief Engineer and sent to: HSWBids@suffolkcountyny.gov. The Commissioner of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
