The Regional Municipality of York (the Region) is seeking to prequalify licensed electrical contractors (contractor), for the installation of Security Systems at Regional facilities as part of future procurements. The contractor must be proficient in the installation of Enterprise Grade Security Systems, such as Lenel OnGuard, Honeywell EBI, Tema Line, Milestone video management system (VMS), Bosch, or similar, as well as other low voltage systems, such as intrusion alarms, intercom, public address, audio/visual, Nurse Call, Real Time Locating Systems, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the Deliverables). Prequalification Categories: Respondents may request to be prequalified as a Category A - General Contractor (holding a valid COR certification). or Category B - Subcontractor (No COR Certification is required) or Category C - Both General Contractor and Subcontractor. Further details provided in Appendix A - RFSQ Particulars. Mandatory Requirements: Electrical License - ECRA or ESA - Respondents must confirm it holds a valid electrical contractor license from the Electrical Contractor Registration Agency (ECRA) of the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA). Electrician License - Construction and Maintenance 309A - Respondent must confirm its Master Electrician or Journeyman holds a valid Electrician License - Construction and Maintenance 309A through the Ontario College of Trades. Category A Only - Respondents must be COR certified or provide a Letter of COR Equivalency issued by the IHSA.
