The Supplier will produce high quality NSF/ANSI 61 certified filter media to replenish filter beds at the Purchaser's Willamette Slow Sand Treatment Facility (WSSTF.) The total amount of filter media needed by the Purchaser is estimated to be 2,030 tons at 7.5% moisture content (approximately 1,440 cubic yards) and delivered beginning no sooner than September 11th, 2023 and ending no later than October 13th, 2023 as outlined in Table 2 of Section 4. Filter media deliveries will only be allowed Monday through Friday between 7:30am - 3:30pm. Contractor licensing under ORS 468A.720 for working with asbestos-containing materials is not a requirement of this project. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether or not the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. Each bid must also contain a statement as to whether the bidder is registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. The Springfield Utility Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interests of the Springfield Utility Board. The Springfield Utility Board may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so
