Site work for a municipal facility in Everett, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities and informalities in the bids submitted and accepted by the City. No Contractor may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the opening unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) days. The City further reserves the right to make awards to the lowest and most responsive Contractor as deemed in the best interests of the City. Provide an electrical contractor license, if required by Chapter 19.28 RCW This Contract is subject to the requirements of Chapter 39.12 RCW, and as it may be amended, relating to prevailing wages. The wage rates to be paid all laborers, workers, and mechanics who perform any part of this Contract shall not be less than the prevailing wage rates as required by Chapter 39.12 of the Revised Code of Washington, as amended. This requirement applies to laborers, workers, and mechanics whether they are employed by the Contractor, subcontractors, sub-subcontractors, or any other person who performs a portion of the Work contemplated by this Contract. A bid bond is not required for this solicitation. Unless the Contractor receives notice otherwise from the City in writing, the Contractor will be required to make, execute, and deliver performance and payment bonds equal to Required Bond Amount with a surety company as surety. The Required Bond Amount is fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000). The Required Bond Amount may be adjusted by the City from time to time, in which case the Contractor at its sole cost and expense will obtain and provide the City new bonds or bond riders as necessary to satisfy the entire adjusted Required Bond Amount. Failure to do this is a default under the Contract. The required repairs may be a result of acts of nature, vandalism, vehicular or citizen damage to public property fencing. This contract should not be used to include major structural work, such as new installations or replacement of outdated materials. The city would be the sole determinator if the work requested meets the needs and requirements of this contract. The city does not have an estimated frequency of work that may be available for the Contractor. There may be few or no projects each year, or there may be a significant amount of work. The City projected the estimated annual contract value of $50,000.00 based on the number of fence repairs completed historically. Question Deadline 09/25/2023 A bid bond is not required for this solicitation.
