This project includes the following: furnish labor, fuel, insurance, taxes, equipment, and other items necessary for the cutting, grinding, or removal of limbs, trees, and stumps at selected City locations including street right-of-ways, public grounds, or public easements across private property. The contractor shall be licensed in the City of Joplin Missouri before entering the work of said contract. The City reserves the right to evaluate all bids, to reject any or all bids and re-bid at a later date. The City may waive any irregularities in the bid or negotiate variances from specifications and make awards that are in the best interests of the City. The City will have final decision in all matters regarding acceptance of bids and issuance of awards. The contract herein is not a prevailing wage contract; this contract is a maintenance contract between the successful bidder and the City of Joplin. The City encourages minority and female owned businesses to submit bids on all City purchases. No interpretation of the meaning to the specifications, or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to City Hall ATTN: Chad Weller 4th Floor, 602 S. Main Street, Joplin, MO 64801 or emailed to Cweller@joplinmo.org and to be given consideration must be received prior to the PreBid Meeting, Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Questions received after this date and time will not be answered.
