Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Rutland, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of September 6, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Contractor shall remove all existing sidewalk and install new concrete sidewalk on the north side of Temple Street, from North Main Street to Bellevue Avenue. The total amount of new sidewalk to be installed is approximately 970 linear feet. The sidewalk to be removed is composed of concrete and asphalt. New sidewalk to be installed shall be 5 ft wide concrete as specified in these documents. liquidated damages will be assessed to the Contractors bill of $500/day of non-compliance. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received as a result of this solicitation, to negotiate with any qualified source, to waive any formality and any technicalities or to cancel this request for bids in part or in its entirety if it is in the best interests of the City.
