As of May 9, 2024, a construction manager has been awarded and has relased the project for sub bidding as follows: The scope of work for the GAUSE ISD MAIN ENTRY & RENOVATION will be for the following trades and will include but not limited to: SELECTIVE DEMOLITION, CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT, NORMAL WEIGHT CONCRETE, ROUGH & FINISH CARPENTRY, ARCHITECTURAL WOODWORK, BUILDING INSULATION, METAL SOFFIT PANELS, HOLLOW METAL DOORS AND FRAMES, ALUMINUM DOORS AND FRAMES, WOOD DOORS, ALUMINUM ENTRANCES & STOREFRONTS, BULLET RESISTANT TRANSACTIONAL WINDOW, FINISH HARDWARE, GLAZING, SAFETY & SECURITY WINDOW FILM, METAL FRAMING & DRYWALL, CERAMIC TILE, RUBBER BASE, RESILIENT VINYL FLOORING VCT, ACOUSTICAL CEILINGS, PAINTING, ROOM SIGNAGE, TOILET ROOM ACCESSORIES, HVAC, ELECTRICAL, FIRE ALARM, PLUMBING, and other related trades. Gause ISD Main Entry and Security Renovation. The Main Entry and Security Renovations includes: a. New ADA front Parking Spot b. New Front Door to Create and Air Lock Entry c. New ADA Restroom in Existing Work Room d. New/Repair Existing Ceiling, Wall, and Floor in renovated areas. This Main Entry and Security Renovation portion of the project is to be constructed during the summer of 2024 while school is out with the approximate budget of $160,000 to $180,000 Gause ISD New Multi-Purpose Building and Campus Security The Multi-Purpose Building includes: a. Elementary Gymnasium with Retractable Seating and Poured Floor b. Workout Room c. Restrooms d. Teacher Workroom e. Connecting Link Between New Multi-Purpose Building and Existing Elementary f. Security Walls Between Fences The Multi-Purpose Building will be a pre manufactured metal building with a masonry wainscot and metal siding. The New Building will start the summer of 2024 with an estimated completion date of August of 2025. The budget for the 6,542 square foot Multi-Purpose Building and Campus Security is $2,862,000.
