Demolition and disposal of buildings 11 through 14 The requested SLDBE Contract Goal is 35%. The City of New Orleans (City) and New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) solicits bids to obtain an emergency contract for South Campus Buildings 11 through 14 Demolition of the South Campus at the South Terminal of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. The requested services include (but are not limited to) the following: Base Bid -Demolition of Buildings 11-14. The Contractor will be responsible for the demolition and proper disposal of Buildings 11 through 14 structures and contents located at 11 Middle Access Road, Kenner, LA 70062. The total square footage of the buildings is approximately 23,000 sf (+/-), and are comprised of a steel frame structure, with metal roof and walls with fasteners. Buildings 12 through 14 shall be demolished prior to Building 11 with a separate Notice to Proceed for Building 11 being provided within 30 days following the completion of demolition for Buildings 12-14. Alternate 1 -Remobilization for Building 11. If a Notice to Proceed for Building 11 is issued more than 30 days following completion of demolition for Buildings 12-14, contractor shall provide a price for demobilization and remobilization. Price shall be held for up to 180 days.
