During the walk through it was discovered that the header height is only 80" which is a sliding door header height, standard doors must be framed to 82". This line item is to include the re-framing of the open area to accommodate a 36" metal door right hand outswing to allow for the door to open fully. The contractor is to include in this line item the framing, door and installation, interior and exterior door and floor trim, siding repair as required, drywall repair, tape, bed, texture, and paint from corner to corner to match the existing interior wall and trim, door paint, and all labor required.
