Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Whitecourt, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Whitecourt is seeking pricing from qualified firms to remove or reduce tripping hazards on concrete sidewalks around Town. The work includes grinding or shaving the concrete surface up to 25 millimeters (1 inch) to flatten out trip edges caused by differential settlement. The work is measured in lineal meters and it is anticipated that the full width of the sidewalk panel will need to be addressed. Provisional pricing is also requested for crackfilling, using a gravity flow concrete crack filler approved by Alberta Transportation. Award is subject to final approval.
