The City of Yukon is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to: 1) conduct a ten (10) year Cost-of-Service analysis for the Citys Yukon Municipal Authority (which provides water and wastewater services), and the sanitation (solid waste) enterprise fund; and 2) assist in the development of a five (5) year Rate Schedule for utility services. Both the Cost of-Service analysis and recommended rate schedule should: 1) promote full cost recovery for the water, wastewater, and sanitation services being provided to the Citys utility customers; 2) include fair and equitable apportionments of costs to the service and customer class type; and 3) provide sustainable, and sufficient revenue to meet the projected expenditure requirements of the Yukon Municipal Authority and Sanitation Fund for water, wastewater, and sanitation services. The City serves approximately 9639 water, and 9482 sewer customers respectively. It should be noted that sanitation service is provided throughout Yukons city limits.
