Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cornish, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Cornish School District is inviting bids for a structural roof study in preparation for a roof replacement. PRE-PROPOSAL SITE REVIEW Cornish Elementary is looking to replace the existing standing seam roof with a cold roof asphalt system. A detailed inspection of the current structure is necessary for this transition. The vendor shall inspect the entire roofing structure, members and connections. An analysis shall be made to determine what the roof can safely support. To move to an asphalt cold roof system, the second part of the analysis will take into account the weight of the new roofing system, current weight loads mandated by code and determine what the new roofing system should support. Detailed modifications if any shall be written into the analysis so that alterations can be made by a qualified vendor.
