Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Stanton County Treasurer in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with its bid proposal. Stanton County will receive bids on the removal, disposal of the existing chiller system and installation of a new chiller system in the Stanton County Courthouse located at 804 Ivy St, Stanton Nebraska. Scope of the work will be for: 1) the removal and disposal of existing chiller; 2) the installation of a 30-ton compressor chiller located in courthouse basement; 3) the installation of condenser on roof/equipment curb; 4) the installation of a new copper line set from the roof to existing basement location; 5) the installation of electrical wiring to be connected to existing electrical line; 6) supply of 410A refrigerant for the new system; 7) all labor and crane usage needed to complete the project; and 8) cleanup of debris during and at completion of project. Optional scope of work: 1) the removal of existing base pumps; and 2) the installation of 2 new 208/230volt 3-phase pumps. Bids shall include the cost for all labor, material and equipment to complete all the work. The Stanton County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularities in the bids received. The Stanton County Board of Commissioners will, at its discretion, award the contract on the basis of the best responsible bid received.
