Construction of land drainage and retention system in the south end of Dauphin. Work includes excavation of two large storage retention ponds, installation of approximately 885 m of land drainage pipe with associated manholes, catch basins, and ditch grading. Construction of bituminous pavement on Provincial Trunk Highway 5A from Whitmore Avenue to 4th Avenue South, in the City of Dauphin. The work in Phase 1, as outlined in the special provisions, must be completed by no later than MARCH 31, 2024. Daily Liquidated Damages after this specified Completion Date will be charged to the Contractor at the rate of THREE THOUSAND ($3,000) Dollars per calendar day until the Work is completed.
