Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Clintwood, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project has a bid range of $1,800,000 - $3,200,000. The work to be performed under the terms of these Specifications generally consists of installation of sediment control, grade work associated with construction, replacement of a VDOT culvert, construction of a temporary construction bridge, removal of slide material to the designated off-site disposal area, structure removal, paving Route 631, compliance with all permit conditions and revegetation of all disturbed areas on the site known as the Camp Creek Landslide Project for the Commonwealth of Virginia. All Inquiries for information should be directed to: jillian.bullock, (276) 455-6979, or by email at: jillian.bullock@energy.virginia.gov Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be a certified check, cash escrow or a bid bond PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: The successful bidder shall deliver to the purchasing office executed Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the sum of the contract amount, with the Commonwealth of Virginia as obligee. The surety shall be a surety company or companies approved by the State Corporation Commission to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
