Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Clintwood, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Sealed bids are invited for Fremont Area Headquarters Phase II located at 1075 DC Caney Ridge Road (State Route 637), Clintwood, VA 24228. The project is generally described as construction of approx. 6,000 SF Chemical Storage Building with an underground salt brine solution tank, approx. 6,000 SF Spreader Rack Canopy (Metal Building Systems) and Tailgate Racks including related site work on the site of the newly constructed VDOT Fremont AHQ complex. Work Location:Fremont Area Headquarters 1075 DC Caney Ridge Road (State Route 637) Clintwood, Va 24228 A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. (When bid bonds are requested, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bond.)
