Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clintwood, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project consists of site grading and erosion control, approximately 2,300 LF of paved access road, 2,200 LF of 8" gravity sewer and manholes, 2,300 LF of 8" water line and appurtenances, stormwater management, highwall hazard reduction measures, and related improvements. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of [5%] percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Question Deadline 04/10/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
