As of September 21, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work consists of cleaning and applying a tank liner to the aeration tanks and final clarifiers of the Cresthaven Homes Waste Water Treatment Plant. The Crest haven Homes WWTP provides sanitary treatment for up to 100,000 GPD for 186 single family homes. All materials and equipment must meet the plans and specifications as approved by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and work performed shall be under the supervision of the Lorain County Sanitary Engineer. All contractors involved with this project will to an extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in implementation of this project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lorain County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, (614) 644- 2239. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Lorain County to do so. Any interpretation, correction or modification to the specifications desired shall be in writing to J. R. White, County Administrator, 226 Middle Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035, and must be received at least four (4) working days prior to the date of bid opening.
