This scope of work shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for and incidental to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of conveyance systems at various locations within the City & County of San Francisco. The District reserves the right to add or delete conveyances as necessary. Project management, communication abilities, performance on deliverables and outcomes, effectiveness in meeting or exceeding project objectives. Bidders must provide with Submittals, a release of liability for checking references, consistent with Appendix D. Failure to timely execute the contract, or to furnish any and all insurance certificates and policy endorsement, surety bonds or other materials required in the contract, shall be deemed an abandonment of a contract offer. The District, in its sole discretion, may select another firm and may proceed against the original selectee for damages. This will be for a three year contract, with the District's discretion to extend--two options to extend, one year at a time. The Not-to-Exceed amount in the initial term of the contract is $1,500,000.00, but is subject to increase pending the amount of work needed.
