Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
All questions must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18th , 2023 to provide sufficient time for response and preparation of addenda, if necessary. Any questions received after this time will not be answered. The work to be done in general consists of mobilization; traffic control plan development; water pollution control program; cold planing: placement of hot mix asphalt materials: pruning and removing tree roots; lowering and adjusting utility covers to finish grade; removal and replacement of traffic striping and pavement markings; installation of shoulder backing: removal and replacement of loop detectors; and all other work shown on the Plans and as specified in these Special Provisions. The Contractor shall possess at least one of the following valid Contractor s licenses at the time the bids are opened: Class A, General Engineering Contractor or Class C-12.Earthwork and Paving Contractor. All Bids Shall Be Presented Under Sealed Cover and Shall Be Accompanied by Cash, Cashier S or Certified Check or a Bidder's Bond Executed by a Corporate Surety Insurer. The Bidder S Guarantee Shall Be in an Amount Equal to at Least Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount Bid and Made Payable to the City of Concord. .
