**As of September 14,2023, project was awarded to MCK Services, Inc awarded amount is 875,648.25.** All questions must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023 to provide sufficient time for response and preparation of addenda, if necessary The work to be done in general consists of mobilization; traffic control plan development; water pollution control program; cold planing placement of hot mix asphalt materials; pruning and removing tree roots; lowering and adjusting utility covers to finish grade; removal and replacement of traffic striping and pavement markings; installation of shoulder backing; removal and replacement of loop detectors; and all other work shown on the Plans and as specified in these Special Provisions. The Contractor shall possess at least one of the following valid Contractor's licenses at the time the bids are opened: Class "A," General Engineering Contractor or Class "C-12," Earthwork and Paving Contractor. The bidder's attention is directed to the section of the Special Provisions regarding the requirement to enter into a Project Stabilization Agreement ("PSA") for City construction projects funded in whole or in part with City of Concord funds where the engineer's estimate or bid amount exceeds $750,000.00. The PSA also includes Helmets to Hardhats requirement. A copy of the PSA is attached and incorporated by reference The City Council has ascertained that State of California prevailing wage rates are applicable for this and all City projects. All Bids Shall Be Presented Under Sealed Cover and Shall Be Accompanied by Cash, Cashier's or Certified Check or a Bidder's Bond Executed by a Corporate Surety Insurer. The Bidder's Guarantee Shall Be in an Amount Equal to at Least Ten Percent (10%) Of the Amount Bid and Made Payable to the City of Concord The Notice to Proceed will be issued on a date agreed upon by the City and Contractor from September 2023 to November 2023 to ensure the most competitive pricing.
