Renovation of an educational facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project consists of the installation of a stand alone nitrogen generation system to supply high purity nitrogen gas to the existing DI water system. Components of this renovation include: 1. Removal and disposal of the existing abandoned gas-fired steam humidifiers. This will include the humidifiers, steam piping, gas piping and associated fittings and supports. 2. removal and disposal of existing abandoned control panels, conduit and wiring. 3. Installation of new nitrogen generation system to include air compressor, nitrogen generator, dryer, tank and controls, including power connection(s). 4. Installation of a new breaker in the existing switchboard. 5. Installation of conduit, wiring and disconnect between switchboard and nitrogen generation system. 6. Piping of nitrogen generation system between equipment, to DI water system, and to existing floor drain (condensate). 7. Clean up of project area. Work is deleted from the Contract prior to commencement of that Work without substitution of other similar Work, one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price attributable to that Work shall be deducted from the Contract Price. However, in the event that equipment, product or material Submittals have been approved and orders placed for said equipment, products or materials, a lesser amount, but in no case less than eighty percent (80%) of the Contract Price attributable to that Work, shall be deducted from the Contract Price. The credit to the Owner for reduced premiums on Standard Labor and Material Payment Bonds and Standard Performance Bonds shall in all cases be one hundred percent (100%).
