The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks qualifications from firms to provide professional services for the design of a leachate management system at the Steelfield Road Landfill. The Steelfield Road Landfill located at 11411 Landfill Road, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 is a Class I, Subtitle D landfill that is permitted to accept Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Non-hazardous Industrial Waste, Class III materials, and Construction and Demolition Debris. The consultant shall identify the most practical and economically efficient method of managing the leachate generated at the Landfill, design the selected leachate management system, and provide construction oversite to ensure that the system is constructed as designed. Respondents shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department at Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov or FAX to (850) 248-8276. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CDT) on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
