This item shall consist of furnishing and installing L-828 constant current regulators (CCRs) in accordance with these specifications at Destin Executive Airport (DTS) in Destin, Florida. All circuit breakers, wire and cable connections, and necessary conduits and fittings should all be in place from the existing configuration. Work shall include the testing of the installation and all incidentals necessary to place the CCRs in operation as completed units to the satisfaction of the Engineer. Furnish and install three (3) each 7.5KW constant current regulators to replace existing regulators at DTS. Two of the regulators will be 3-step (runway and taxiway light circuits) and one regulator will include 5-steps for the PAPI lighting circuit. Regulators will be L-828 series, 7.5KW, 6.6A, 240V compatible. Demolition and removal of two of the existing regulators shall be included while the current runway lighting circuit regulator will be left in the lighting vault as an emergency spare.
