Reference Number 0000324725 The City of Steamboat Springs is seeking Requests for Proposals for design services from qualified firms for cost-conscious river and streambank improvements along the Yampa River within an urbanized area of Steamboat Springs, CO. These improvements shall further, or at a minimum not compete with, stream health objectives identified in the Yampa River Health Assessment & Streamflow Management Plan. The City is seeking the following desired skills and experience from qualified vendors: Questions shall be submitted, in writing via the electronic submission on no later than 5:00 PM, July 21, 2023. Responses to all questions shall be issued in the form of an addendum no later than 5:00 PM, July 27, 2023. Proposers are cautioned not to contact other City staff during this RFP process. Failure to comply may result in disqualification The City desires all project design, permit approvals and engineers construction estimates to be completed by January 31, 2024. The City is planning on finalizing construction bid documents by February 28, 2024. The City plans on advertising the project in early spring of 2024 and construction to start in late summer/early fall 2024.
