The Columbia Public Schools (Owner) is accepting sealed bids for the Columbia Area Career Center Horticulture Building Renovation. Any clarifications, changes, etc. discussed during the meeting, will also be submitted to each bidder by written addendum. There will be no future provisions or time allotted for those parties not present at this mandatory pre-bid to access areas. Bidders that do not attend the pre-bid meeting will not be allowed to submit a bid. All Contractors and Subcontractors shall conform to the State of Missouri, Division of Labor Standards, Annual Wage Order No. 30, Section 010, Boone County, in accordance with Section 290.262 CUM. Supp. RSMo 2000. All Contractors and Subcontractors shall conform to the Missouri Prevailing Wage Law Sections 290.550 to 290.580 Public Works during Excessive Unemployment, ifapplicable to this Project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Columbia Public Schools will receive Bids for a Combined Contract, including General Construction, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Work, for the Horticulture Building Renovations at the Columbia Area Career Center. Requests for interpretation (RFI) or clarifications of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted by the Bidder in writing no later than 12:00 pm local time on July 28, 2023. Bidders shall submit RFIs in PDF format to Brad Stegemann via email at stegemann@soa-inc.com. The Work consists of the following: Renovations to the existing Columbia Area Career Center (CACC) Horticulture Building to make two individual classrooms. The project will include exterior work to install concrete sidewalks and concrete footings to support the relocation of the existing insulated cooler panel system. The insulated cooler will receive a new EPDM Membrane Roof and sheet metal gutter system.
