Site work and paving for a road / highway in Litchfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project will consist of the reconstruction of portions of Moosehorn Road and Turner Road in the Town of Litchfield. On Moosehorn Road, the project will commence southwest of the intersection with Turner Road and proceed northeasterly approximately 3,175 feet to the intersection with Northfield Road and Camp Hill Road. On Turner Road, the project will commence south of the intersection with Moosehorn Road and proceed northerly approximately 1,250 feet to the intersection. The project will consist of approximately 1,425 linear feet of full- depth reconstruction, 2,200 linear feet of partial-depth reconstruction and approximately 800 linear feet of mill and overlay A Surety Company Bond, on the form furnished by the Town, for at least 5 percent of the amount of the bid must accompany each proposal. A certified check will not be accepted. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. CONTRACTORS that find discrepancies and/or errors in or between plans, specifications, quantities and other matters, must immediately notify DPW c/o Raz Alexe, P.E., Director of Public Works/Town Engineer, 101 Russell Street, Litchfield, CT 06759 or at ralexe@townoflitchfield.org in writing not less than ten days before the scheduled bid opening
