Renovation of a military facility in Tucson, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

1. Work Coordinate work with on- staff. Lock out/tag out electrical, natural gas and domestic water. Disconnect flue piping and environmentally dispose of (1) boiler. Provide and install (1) Parker model WH300 indirect fired water heater in existing . Provide and install (1) new Bell and Gossett 1/2 hp inline pump. Reconnect flue piping to existing with new draft hood, flue piping and fittings as required. Reconnect natural gas piping with new piping and fittings as required. Reconnect domestic water supply and return piping with new copper piping and fittings as required. Reconnect electrical with new seal tight, wire and fittings as required. Start up and check for proper operation. Provide domestic water sterilization for boiler only. Reinsulate new piping to match existing. Provide IOM manuals. Provide 1 year warranty on all labor, equipment and materials supplied by DLJCG. a. Provide a standard commercial warranty against product defect and breakage and one year warranty on labor and other parts. b. Contractors shall provide and maintain all necessary guards, lights, barricades, etc., to protect persons, property, and materials in and around the . c. Do not disturb hazardous materials and report condition immediately to the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) regarding potentially hazardous conditions that are uncovered. Stop work in the area of the questionable material or condition until identification and is provided. d. The Contractors work shall adhere to the criteria stated within these project requirements, drawings, and specifications. All construction shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local code requirements as well as current industry standards, (i.e., IBC, NEC, NSPC, NFPA, EPA, ASTM, GSA, AASHTO, etc.) and health and safety codes, in effect at the time of contract award. Domestic water boiler replacement in building 107 basement boiler room. NOTE: Funds are not currently available for this requirement IAW FAR 52.232-18. Award is contingent on receiving funding. This is a request for quote for a domestic water boiler for the USDA ARS in Tucson, AZ. Please see the attached documents for important information including instructions on how and when to submit quotes. This is a total small business set-aside with a of between $25,000 and $100,000. NOTE: Funds are not currently available for this requirement IAW FAR 52.232-18. Award is contingent on receiving funding. All work shall be done in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions, drawings, statement of work (SOW) and other attachments set forth in the RFQ. IAW FAR 36.204 the estimated of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Completion shall be 90 days after issuance of the notice to proceed (NTP) Dept. of Labor General Decision #AZ20230032 dated 6/23/2023 is applicable to this contract. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, 1 JC supplies, supervision, and transportation needed to complete the replacment of a Domestic Water Boiler (Bldg 107). Delivery: 90 Days After Notice to Proceed All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the , must be submitted to Michael.Sherlock@usda.gov 9:00 a.m. PST, Friday, September 8, 2023. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
