The City of Palm Desert ("City") is requesting proposals from qualified firms ("Proposers") for HVAC Preventative Maintenance, Repair and Replacement ("Services") to establish a Maintenance Services Agreement ("Agreement"). To serve and promote the welfare of its residents, the City intends to procure the Services, as described below. The City is intends to enter into a contract for preventative maintenance on HVAC units, as well as needed extra service either for repair or replacement. The City is a charter city in the State of California, a thriving community of approximately 50,000 full-time and 32,000 seasonal residents. It is located in the Coachella Valley in central Riverside County, part of the low desert region of Southern California. The weather can be extreme in the low desert. Keeping the City owned and operated facilities climate controlled is vital to the community. Regular maintenance, and repair as needed, is an essential component to the successful operations of all the HVAC systems.
