VA NORTHERN INDIANA HEALTHCARE SYSTEM-MARION CAMPUS PROJECT: Remodel 1st Floor Building 138, Marion 610-19-103 STATEMENT OF WORK: Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to remodel the 1st floor building 138 at the Veterans Administration in Marion, IN. This project will remodel the approximately 10,000 square feet. This project will include demolishing of existing interior walls, floors, ceilings, and utilities within the scope of the project based on provided documents. The contractor will install new interior walls, floors, ceilings, and utilities within the project scope and based on the provided documents. All work to be completed at the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care Marion Campus, 1700 E. 38th. Street, Marion, IN 46953. Work to be completed within 428 calendar from notice to proceed. OF WORK: This project is designed for remodel the 1st floor building 138 as most materials are beyond their useful life, to include more PACT space for veterans, and to create better layout for the building and connected structures at the Marion VA. THE PROJECT REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary remodeling the following: ICRA Permit posted at the job site. Use tightly covered container to remove debris along a path identified by Healthcare Epidemiology. Protect patient care areas from activity or close access to work area. If removing ceiling tiles, replace promptly. Minimize dust and dirt. Keep work area clean. HEPA vacuum or damp wipe and mop work areas when work is complete. Other precautions noted below. A. Review record drawings and specs. B. Review facility s historic documentation/archives. C. Perform Condition Assessment/Material Testing/Surveys/Feasibility Study. D. Identify and overcome constraints for progress. E. Site Survey there may be costly consequences of restricting access. F. Destructive (soft) demolition may be considered to access hidden conditions. G. Identify and address previously unauthorized work. H. Identify possible abatement issues (asbestos, lead, mold) All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings of the solicitation (when ) and all applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
