Renovation of a laboratory facility in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.

Description: In general, the work consists of the the renovation of existing classrooms to support a new Winery Research Laboratory , approximately 3,600 SF, Located in the Enology Building . The projects includes remodeling of the following spaces: Research Winery Lab, Brewery/Distillery Lab, Cooler, Restroom/Shower and covered exterior prep area. Renovation as required to South Lab Classroom to provide lateral bracing and fire separation wall. Project also includes roofing over the enology building and modification of the fire alarm in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Teter LLC; Architects construction estimate is $2,189,000. This project is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage rate laws (Contract General Conditions, Article 4.02). All contractors and all tiers of subcontractors who will work on this project shall register to bid and work on public works projects with the Dept. of Industrial Relations, and maintain current this registration pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
