Per the owner, as of December 18, 2024, this project is in the early stages of design. The owner states that construction is not anticipated to begin until late 2025 or early 2026. The City of South San Francisco (City) is seeking request for proposals to provide landscape architecture, design, and community facilitation services for the Linden Avenue Park Project in the City of South San Francisco. It is the intent of the City to engage the most qualified consultant to provide the Project Development and Design services. Prevailing Wage Requirements: Consultant shall comply with the State of California's Prevailing Wage Rate requirements in accordance with California Labor Code, Section 1771, and all federal, state and local laws and ordinances applicable to work. Section 1720 of the State Labor Code which states in part: "For purposes of this paragraph, 'construction' includes work performed during the design, site assessment, feasibility study, and other preconstruction phases of construction, including, but not limited to, inspection and land surveying work, regardless of whether any further construction work is conducted, and work performed during the postconstruction phases of construction, including, but not limited to, all cleanup work at the jobsite."
