The City seeks to award one or more maintenance contracts to provide routine and oncall elevator maintenance services to elevator vertical transport devices located at citywide locations for a two (2) year term with three one-year options to renew. Contractors shall furnish all labor, incidental trade-related materials, tools, equipment, transportation/ mobilization/ vehicle expenses/ fuel, relevant expenses, taxes, insurances, bonding, overhead and profit, traffic control, permits, and public noticing, as required, to accomplish the work in accordance with the City's contract requirements/specifications. General work includes: routine preventative maintenance; inspections; testing and calibration; on-call repair services; and occasional installation and modernization services. Contractors shall possess at a minimum a valid and active State of California Contractor license: C-11 Elevator Contractor; Certified Qualified Conveyance Company (CQCC); and Certified Competent Conveyance (Elevator) Mechanic (CCCM). The City seeks to award one or more maintenance contracts for a two (2) year term with three one-year options to renew. The City does not guarantee usage of services nor compensation for unused services. The Contractor will only be compensated for services completed to the satisfaction of the City. Any questions addressing the interpretation or clarification of the Bid Forms or the Bid Documents must be submitted no later than THURSDAY, JULY 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. through the City's electronic submission process.
