Site work for a road / highway in Saint Charles, Missouri. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Remove and replace wooden timber section of South Main St. just north of Boone's Lick Rd a. Including anchor/support stringers under timbers and wooden curbing at edges of street b. Approximate dimensions: 42 ft. wide x 18 ft. long c. Existing road surface is 6x6 rough-cut oak timbers d. All necessary hardware - lag bolts, washers, etc. Seal with clear deck-type sealer Replace displaced bricks and blend brick approaches to meet wood timber elevation Work Alternate: 1. Provide timbers with wood preservative, in lieu of raw timbers sealed with clear deck-type sealer. The City of Saint Charles reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check for an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid amount, payable unconditionally to the City of Saint Charles, Missouri as a guarantee that the bidder will execute a contract and furnish the required bond if the bid is accepted.
