Renovation of a municipal facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Purchase and renovation of its rented location in Bastion Square so it can become a regional hub. The 8,000-square-foot building on Langley Street, to be called la Maison de la francophonie de Victoria, will be a place for the community to gather and make connections. It will also provide rental space and activities. Renovation efforts will include improving the fire alarms, ventilation and heating in the three-storey, Rattenbury-designed Chancery Court building in Bastion Square. TIMELINE: All major trades are secured.
