BC Cancer Agency - Victoria is planning to replace the existing linear accelerators for the Arbutus and Birch vaults. Renovations will be required to the vaults and the adjacent control rooms to accommodate the new equipment. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for consultant (architectural) services for the project is underway. The successful Proponent will act in the capacity of a Managing Consultant (Architect) for the Project, including engaging the services of all Sub-Consultants as required to provide complete consulting services for the Project, except that the Authority will engage a professional quantity surveyor, hazardous materials consultant and if required geotechnical and environmental consultants. Services to be provided by the Managing Consultant and Sub-Consultants will include architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural and code (if required) . Further update in early spring 2025, pending selection of a preferred proponent. *Only architectural firms that have been prequalified by the Authority for projects Acute Care Project greater than $150K are eligible to respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm that is not prequalified for projects Acute Care Project greater than $150K.
