To accomplish these tasks, the excavated material will need to be containerized and characterized for proper disposal. For purposes of this bid, it should be assumed that the waste will be non-hazardous and the quantity is 1,500 cubic yards. A third-party environmental consultant will perform confirmatory sampling at the site to ensure all contaminated soils have been removed. The Owner or his representative will determine when the placement of backfill can occur.The drainage ditch is located east of Port Gang Road and south of Port Gateway Circle. A railroad spur parallels the ditch to the north and the container pad borders the ditch to the south.
