FY2022-23 Annual Road Maintenance Project The engineers estimated cost of construction for this project is as follows: Schedule A - $624,000, Alternative Schedule B - $136,000 and Alternative Schedule C - $167,000 and Alternative Schedule D - $284,000. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bidder's bond, made payable to the CITY OF BUELLTON for an amount no less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The CITY will deduct a five percent (5%) retention from all progress payments as specified in C7-MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT. A copy of the latest prevailing wage rates is available for inspection at City Hall. In addition, the CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for compliance with requirements of Section l777.5 of the California Labor Code relating to apprentices of public works contracts. The CITY hereby affirmatively ensures that all business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this Notice and will not be discriminated in any consideration leading to the award of contract. The CITY reserves the right to award all or a portion of the work. The basis of award will be the cumulative amount of Contractors Bids received for Schedule A through D. The CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of forty-five (45) days. The contract will not be awarded to a CONTRACTOR who does not hold a valid Class "A", or “C-32” license in accordance with the provisions of the Business and Professions Code.
