As of January 22, 2024, this project was awarded to RDZ Contractors, Inc., awarded amount of $992,898.20. The work to be performed consists of the Contractor furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals necessary for the construction of the proposed project, complete in place in accordance with the contract drawings and specification and subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to setup and maintenance of traffic control system, potholing utilities, the removal and replacement of curb, gutter, asphalt, and sidewalk, cold milling existing asphalt concrete, overlaying with asphalt, water main replacement, raising manholes and valve cans to finished grade, installation of architectural treatments, salvage of existing treatments and features, installation of new traffic signalization, and striping signing and markings. The CITY hereby affirmatively ensures that all business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this Notice and will not be discriminated in any consideration leading to the award of contract. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashiers check or bidders bond, made payable to the CITY OF BUELLTON for an amount no less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The CITY will deduct a five percent (5%) retention from all progress payments as specified in C7-MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT. The contract will not be awarded to a Contractor who does not hold a valid Class A, or C-12 license in accordance with the provisions of the Business and Professions Code. The CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of forty-five (45) days.
