"As of December 13, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. The project is not intended to be rebid as it has been cancelled by the owner. The Engineer's Estimate for construction of this work is $396,000 Question Deadline 07/27/2023 Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the Town of Windsor or a satisfactory bid bond in favor of the Town of Windsor executed by the bidder as principal, and a satisfactory surety company, licensed as such in the State of California, as surety, in an amount not less than 10% of the maximum amount of the bid. The check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the contract, if awarded to him, in conformity with the contract documents and shall provide the statutory performance bond, and labor and materials bond for 100% of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of said contract, said bonds to be provided within ten (10) days, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, after notification of the award of the contract to the bidder.
