The scope of the project includes the abatement and removal of asbestos-containing materials, septic tank decommissioning, domestic well decommissioning, removal and disposal of various structures, foundations, fencing, concrete, poles, pavement, utilities, landscaping, boulders, vaults, wires, pipes, tires, furniture, drainage structures, trees, shrubs, debris, and other miscellaneous items. The work also involves embankment, compaction, grading, temporary and permanent fencing, topsoiling, seeding, and mulching. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for all bid schedules (including sales tax). A performance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract. The Spokane Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions.
