Sunnyside Beach Parking Lot Improvements Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. This project will involve the redesign of the Sunnyside Beach parking lot from its current in-out single-throat configuration to a one-way in, one-way out configuration. The project includes revision of the parking stall layout to accommodate angled parking, consistent with the revised flow of traffic. Two driveway approaches will be added and the existing midway opening will be closed off. Improvements will include a fog seal coat to the parking lot surface, new pavement markings for angled parking, directional arrows, associated signage, five new manual swing gates, bike racks, and a payment kiosk.
