Renovation of a civil project in Dayton, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Est. Completion Date: Dec. 31, 2024 The project includes addition of a new Dayton Filtration Plant to filter water produced from Wells 4 & 5. The filtration plant consists of a new building located adjacent to Wellhouse No. 4. The building is approximately 47 ft x 63-ft and will house a new horizontal pressure filter system. The building has wetwells located beneath the ground floor slab that serve as a backwash recovery system. The building also includes HVAC and electrical equipment. The new filtration system will connect to the discharge from the existing Well 4 and will also have a connection for a future Well 5 to treat water from both wells. Chemicals stored in Wellhouse No. 4 will be extended to feed into the filtration system. Treated water from the filtration plant will connect to an existing water main.
