Renovation of an educational facility in Mountain City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Reroof a portion of Doe Elementary School consisting of approximately 19,475 square feet. Remove existing ballasted membrane roof system down to existing roof deck and install new fully adhered system as specified and detailed. All new gutters and downspouts, fascia/drip edge flashings and roof-to-wall flashings are included. Prequalification of Bidders may be required to establish previous experience relative to this type project. All Bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 (TCA Title 62, Chapter 6) of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. A five percent (5%) Bid Security is required. The successful Contractor shall be required to produce a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Insurance as required by the contract documents, and enter into a contract with the Owner. Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of the Bid Bond. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid or bids that are judged to be in the best interest of the Owner.
