Site work for a water / sewer project in Millington, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All Bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of construction described herein, as required by Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 6. The work consists generally of furnishing and installing roughly 6,430 LF of 16, 10, and 8 ductile iron pipe, Directional Bore 1,270 LF of 18 HDPE Pipe under Big Creek, valves, fire hydrants, fittings, dry connections to existing piping, dry jack and bore, testing, disinfection, restoration, and all other necessary and appurtenant work required to complete the work as described in these specifications and detailed in the drawings. A Bid Bond, favorable to the City of Millington, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. The City of Millington reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause; and to accept the lowest bid per location which in its judgement will be for the best interest of the City of Millington.
