Site work and paving for a civil project in Millington, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
All Bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of construction described herein, as required by Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 6. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the City of Millington, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. The City of Millington reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause; and to accept the lowest bid per location which in its judgement will be for the best interest of the City of Millington. The work consists generally of furnishing and installing roughly 5,295 LF of 16 ductile iron water pipe, dry jack and bore 100 of 24 steel casing with 12 ductile iron pipe across Veterans Parkway, valves, dry jack and bore 250 of 27steel casing with 16 ductile iron pipe across the Railroad along North Fork Creek, valves fire hydrants, fittings, wet and dry connections to existing piping, roadway repair, testing, disinfection, restoration and all other necessary and appurtenant work required to complete the work as described in these specifications and detailed in the drawings.
