Site work for a water / sewer project in Kingstree, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of January 10, 2025, per owner, project is under construction. Design team and contractor have been identified. Williamsburg County Water & Sewer Authority Water Improvements Project - Engineering Services Identify a qualified civil engineering to provide a full range of engineering services to support the implementation of the Williamsburg County Water Improvement Projects. These services will be provided under contract with the County, with funding provided by the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) through the South Carolina Infrastructure Investment Program (SCIIP) under SCIIP Grant #A-23-C209 and RIA State Grant #R-23-C209. The SCIIP funding will be used to install approximately 5.14 miles of waterlines, 18 services, 1 well, and install SCADA on the new well. These improvements will eliminate issues with water quality, resolve existing capacity/pressure/flow issues, and improve system resiliency for all Williamsburg County water customers. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. All questions and/or requests for clarification regarding this RFQ should be provided in writing to Lane Mixon no later than 2pm on July 27, 2023.
