As of February 15, 2022, project has been canceled. It will be rebid but not at this time. Williamsburg County is requesting bids for the installation of Twenty new outdoor warning siren.2022 The work for this project consists ofthe installation ofTwenty (20) new outdoor warning siren within Williamsburg County. The selected bidder will have to conduct a study to determine maximum coverage for the 20 Sirens over 934 square miles ofwhich 5 miles is located along the Black River. The county has five townships (Unincorporated Areas), Kingstree, Greeleyville, Lane, Stuckey, and Hemingway. There are approximately 12 areas that are heavily populated within the county. Those areas include, Battery Park, Morrisville, Santee, Andrews, Nesmith, Cades, Bloomingville, Cedar Swamp, Indiantown, New Zion, Kingstree, and Mouzon.
