Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Florala, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Information bids for the construction of Lake Jackson Bridge Trail Restoration, RTP PROJECT NO. 21-RT-54-03 will be received. The work generally consists of the following: The removal of wooden walkway decking, wooden railings and framing along the existing elevated trail around Lake Jackson for the City of Florala, Alabama. The existing trail is approximately 2,231 linear feet in length and varies in widths between 6 to 10 feet. As part of this project, the decking and railings will be replaced, along with a frame member, with treated yellow pine. The new framing, decking, and railings will be attached to the existing wooden structure. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance and payment bonds. fully complete the project within 90 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500.00
