Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood Inc. Please also fill out the order form in the ITB and email that form to the GMC contact PLEASE NOTE: The estimated value listed for this project is for searchability purposes only and does not reflect the actual construction budget as determined by the owner. It should not be used for estimation purposes at this time. furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for: Terminal Parking Lot & Site Grading at Florala Municipal Airport. Major items of work include: Grade site for future terminal, construct new parking lot with security gate and fencing. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, but not to exceed $50,000. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the Florala Municipal Airport Authority. All Bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Engineer; the Bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying the license number on the outside of the envelope in which the Proposal is delivered. Bids may be held by the Florala Municipal Airport Authority for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. Award of contract is subject to requirements in the contract documents including, but not limited to, the following Federal provisions: 1) Buy American Preference 2) Civil Rights - Title VI Assurances 3) Davis Bacon 4) Debarment and Suspension 5) Lobbying Federal Employees (Required for contracts over $100,000) 6) Recovered Materials The Florala Municipal Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received. Document info: Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC." Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
